Care Tips: Hey plant parents, get ready for some Real Plant Love™️ Tips & Tricks - these will help keep your Plant Fam Thriving.

Watering: Keep Simple when it comes to watering. Allow the soil to dry out completely between waterings, and then water thoroughly, you may go weeks between watering. Look for the plant to signal when it wants a big gulp – taco drooping, paper feeling leaves, lite weight when picking it up are a few signs but be carful not to allow the soil to stay wet for a long period, if it’s not drying out in 2-3 weeks you need to replant into a beater medium. 

Light: Pretty Chill when it comes to lighting too. They can tolerate low to bright, indirect light. Don't stick these guys out by the pool next to you sun bathing! Avoid direct sunlight, as it can scorch the leaves.

Temperature: Easy-going, but they prefer warm temperatures between 60-85°F (15-29°C). Keep them away from any cold drafts or air conditioning vents.

Humidity: Prefer a little extra humidity if you can spare it. If your home is dry you may want to splurge and get yourself a humidifier for your plants 7 your own skin! [That’s a win-win] You may occasionally spray a lite mist around these but only in  the morning to avoid any fungus or mold introductions. Our recommendation is to buy a couple of low cost humidifiers and clean them out thoroughly once every two weeks with white vinegar and warm water, get up in that thing with a tooth brush!

Soil: Make sure your Medium (Soil) is very well-draining soil, so make sure to use a good quality potting mix and added perlite or pumice is always recommended. Check out our Plant Perfect™️ Indoor Medium - you and your plants both will be very Happy!

Fertilizer: Feed once a month with a balanced, water-soluble organic type Plant Foods and make sure you follow the package instructions for dosage but Cut in Half - Trust us on this Tip. These plants are generally pest-resistant, but  inspect your plants every week, spray with a pest combat spray just to keep the playing field level if these bugs enter into your space. Watch out for mealybugs, spider mites and thrips. We carry a few different options for you to win the war if it starts. Message us for help! Make sure if you see these guys you isolate and start by a medium-high pressure spray of water.
