"Pro-Tip: watch your Guests & Family who carry pocket-knives or scissors around - You may end up losing part of your Plant!"

Care Tips:

Light: The Philodendron is a low maintenance kind of plant, and can thrive in bright, indirect light or even in a shady spot. Just make sure to steer clear of direct sunlight, or those love heart leaves might get a sunburn!

Water: When it comes to watering, the Philodendron is pretty chill. Give it a drink when the top two-to-three inch of soil feels dry to the touch. And remember, it's all about quality over quantity, so make sure to water thoroughly but not too often.

Soil: Give your Philodendron the best start by planting it in a well-draining potting mix, like the ones meant for tropical plants. (If your in the shop check out our 'Plant Perfect Aroid Medium'  for these Philo's, we also carry 'Ivy May' & 'Noot Houseplant Mix' - all of which are "soil free")

Humidity: The Philodendron is a tropical plant, so it likes a humid environment. But don't worry if your home is on the drier side, it can still thrive. (Humidifiers are great but not a must have for these to do great in your home or office)

Feeding: Feed your Philodendron once a month during the growing season with a balanced low dose liquid fertilizer. And don't overdo it, a little goes a long way! (Only use a Brand you can trust - "If you can by Apples or a Toilet at the store you’re getting plant food at, you how been using the wrong stuff & at the wrong place!" - Email us hello @hiddenseedco .com for our personal recommendations on the type of food you need to rock with).

Repotting: When your Philodendron outgrows its pot, it's time for a bigger and better home. Repot every 2-3 years to keep it happy and healthy!
